For who it may concern,
I was so happy to return back to wordpress.com but once find it so difficult to use.
Since I am a content creator and I would like to develop my own newsletter that my reader can subscribe to. So far, it is okay.
But whenever I came to the part to set-up a subscription wall (payment wall), I was blocked.
Because what you can offer me is Stripe. And, for sure you know, Stripe, cannot be used in Taiwan.
So you have any alternative or resolution that I can figure out this problem?
I am not a company and I am only a freelance writer, content creator.
I don’t own a company and I cannot even built up a company in the US.
How can I apply for a Stripe account?!
If you could provide me with a resolution or alternative to be used and usable
here in Taiwan, I would be very much appreciated.
I can confirm that Stripe is not yet in Taiwan and you can see this as well from here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/#stripe-supported-countries-and-currencies
For now, you can use PayPal as an alternative, here’s a guide to assist in setting up: https://wordpress.com/support/paypal/
We put together a detailed FAQ based on the questions we received from folks who were transitioning to the Block Editor from the Classic Editor. This guide is specifically focused on doing the same things you did in the Classic Editor. You can check that out here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-classic-editor-deprecation-faqs/.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further clarification.
